Lisa Glass

Dr. Glass did a bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Calgary before continuing on to the University of Victoria where she completed her PhD in Astrophysics. She then switched fields into medical physics, training in Calgary and Toronto before settling down in Regina, where she’s been for the past seven years. She currently works as a medical physicist in the Radiation Department of the Allan Blair Cancer Centre. She has two kids (10 and 11) and another on the way!

In her presentation, Dr. Glass will discuss her career path, some of the work she’s done in the fields of astrophysics and medical physics, as well as the challenges of balancing family with work.
