Aroosa Ijaz is a quantum physicist and a machine learning enthusiast. She obtained obtained her Master’s Degree in Physics from Ulm University, Germany, with a focus on processing quantum information. She received the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellowship prior to beginning her PhD research at ETH Zurich within the NanoPhysics Group. Ijaz is currently a Machine Learning Scientist at Xanadu, a photonic quantum computing and advanced artificial intelligence company based in Toronto that aims to build quantum computers accessible to everyone.
